The Montgomery City Council is voting on Nov. 5 on a panhandling ordinance that would criminalize panhandling to cars -- which is defined as receiving or handing any object through a car window. If this amendment passes, it would further criminalize poverty and expose every resident to prosecution.
The meeting is at 5 p.m. on Nov. 5 at City Hall -- and we need your voice standing AGAINST this panhandling bill. RSVP now and join us to speak out!
