Anyone who wants to march, we will meet at 11:30am at the Bayard Rustin Community Center (635 Madison Ave next to the Wendy’s). We will step off at 12 SHARP, so don’t be late! If you are disabled and need to ride in a vehicle instead of marching, please send us a message and we will save a seat for you!
We’ll march proudly through the city with banners and chants, ending at the Capitol (Bainbridge & Dexter Ave), where we will continue with our PRIDE rally through the afternoon.
That night, festivities continue with 10pm and midnight shows at Rhonda’s Sports Bar, 4178 Birmingham Hwy ($10 admission).
Then on Sunday, the Festival starts at noon and continues until 7pm on the field at EAT South (485 Moulton St). We’ll have vendors, food trucks, drag shows, music, games, live performances, prizes, raffles, and a Halloween costume contest for kids & adults.
